Sales Representatives –5 positions open

Savant is currently recruiting out bound Technical Sales Representatives that can amplify Savant’s reputation throughout the Hampton Roads community. Candidate should be able to hunt for new business within enterprise and SMB targets across multiple markets and develop new client relationships.


Key Responsibilities: Prospect for new relationships and close new contracts with business executives and decision makers; develop strategic account plans for large accounts and complex sales as well as Small to Medium business clients; write proposals and negotiate contract terms; manage complex sales with many decision influencers; provide customer feedback on product, service and pricing; attain new revenue and protect existing revenue; enhance long term sales.


Requirements: Direct sales experience in selling technology solutions and services; strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business and information technology; ability to envision and propose creative solutions to solve complex problems; must have demonstrated significant selling skills and have consistently met or exceeded financial performance goals; excellent written and verbal communications skills; solid computer skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team; time management and prioritization skills, persuasive negotiation skills; strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Candidate should have a competitive edge, positive attitude, integrity, strong work ethic, resilience, and confidence. Established contacts and industry relationships are a plus.

Network Engineers – Up to 5 positions open

We are now hiring Cisco certified engineers who are interested in an exciting and challenging proactive team environment. Join our team and you'll be exposed to the leading technologies every day.

Key Responsibilities: The Network Engineer is a field systems support position primarily focused on the delivery of client installations, troubleshooting and consulting services. The CCIE and CCNP in these positions must be skilled to provide the delivery of professional services to Savant clients. The specialists will be responsible for developing technical plans to achieve project goals, meet on-time deliverables, budget objectives, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

· Configure, manage and design IP routing using a combination of static routing and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).Manage switched architecture to include creating VLANs, managing VTP domains, spanning tree, and port security.

· Document current network and design upgrades in various written formats (VISIO, Word, etc.).

· Provides timely and effective services to clients including installing and updating LAN/WAN operating systems running on one or more hardware platforms and a variety of application software.

· Maintain knowledge of new technologies and vendor offerings that are cost effective and optimize performance.

· Perform after hours, weekend services as needed.

  • The Infrastructure Specialist position requires an existing Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • The Infrastructure Security Professional requires and existing Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification.

Network Management Specialist- 1 position open



Key Responsibilities
: Duties include monitoring, problem solving and daily operations in large network systems.

Requirements: Have basic knowledge in some of the following areas: networking technologies (WAN, LAN, routing, switching), TCP/IP and related protocols, Microsoft or Unix operating systems, VPN LAN-to-LAN and VPN Client to LAN Technology, DNS (Domain Name Services) or firewalls. Ability to work with and learn from senior staff members; drive and ambition to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion; Clear written and verbal communication skills; Professionalism; ability to work independently; research and fact finding skills, solid understanding of PC tools and applications such as Microsoft Office and Visio.

CCNA preferred.

Service Program Management – 1 position available


Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, communication, coaching, and professional development for a highly technical services team. Cultivate an environment of trust, teamwork, accountability and ownership. Implement programs to motivate employees and stimulate a high sense of business value and client loyalty. Ensure compliance with company operation guidelines. Coordinate and schedule service requests and projects. Communicate with clients and internal team on project status.

Ensure a high level of client/customer satisfaction, client relations and quality standards. Support process improvement to ensure quality and consistency. Analyze team performance and productivity. Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability. Identify and address individual/team training and development needs. Supervise and oversee operations of the Professional Services team for all internal and client projects. This individual will also serve as project manager tracking budget, schedule, and scope. Supervision tasks will include comprehensive performance management and be involved in on-going recruiting. Insure efficient operational procedures and practices; implement processes to achieve financial and productivity goals.


Requirements: Two plus years supervisory/management experience in a customer driven environment preferably in a technology setting. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. Strong motivational and people management skills are essential. Successful experience delivering technology projects on time, in scope, and on budget. Experience in managing multiple processes/projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Strong computer skills are required. Experience in a corporate office setting is preferred. Must have technical background with knowledge in Networking, Security, IP Telephony, Wireless, or Microsoft systems.

Smartnet – 1 position available

The Cisco SMARTnet Technical Sales Representative is a SMARTnet ’guru’ with Cisco SMARTnet experience and a proven track record in contract administration / customer support for a growing VAR. The candidate for this position is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and support of all SMARTnet contracts. Success in this position is measured by the ability to renew the company’s SMARTnet contracts and generate new SMARTnet business via creative selling and marketing solutions. The chosen candidate will report to the Director of Sales Operations with a dotted-line responsibility to the Vice President of Partner Management.


Key Responsibilities: The CISCO SMARTnet Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for:

· Obtain CISCO warranty renewal data on a monthly or quarterly basis,

· Ensure all existing SMARTnet contracts are accurate and current,

· Renewal or new contract creation, maintenance, and support of all SMARTnet contracts,

· Own and continually improve the CISCO warranty renewal process

· SME for the CSCC Partner support system

· Improving CISCO warranty renewal rate to greater than 95%,

· Generating new SMARTnet business via creative selling and marketing solutions.


Requirements: The CISCO SMARTnet Technical Sales Representative must possess the following skills:

· Expert knowledge of Cisco SMARTnet renewal process

· Expert knowledge of new contract and renewal contract order processing

· Experience with Cisco equipment and familiarity with part numbers

· Ability to “sell” new contract solutions to customers

· Must be able to generate professional and timely customer quotations, correspondence and communications

· Previous Team Lead or Management experience.
